At Kasparian Underground and H&B Contractors, safety is our top priority. We've partnered with a third-party safety training company, ESC, to oversee our comprehensive safety program. ESC handles everything from new hire safety training to conducting random weekly job site inspections, accident and incident investigations, toolbox talks, and ongoing training on various safety topics.
If you're familiar with underground utility installation, you understand the unique safety challenges that come with it. We are fully equipped with trench shields, manhole guards, and rent specialized shoring equipment when needed. All our utility foremen are trained as competent persons in trench safety, ensuring every project is executed safely.
We also place a strong emphasis on road safety. Our dump trucks, service trucks, and heavy equipment—like bucket trucks and cranes—are equipped with inward and outward-facing cameras to monitor driving behavior. Drivers are scored and coached to correct unsafe habits, ensuring the safety of our team and everyone on the road.
